About Us

Founded in 1989 by Bob Brochu and Terry Baker, Atlantic Autowerks was built on the philosophy of taking care of every car as if it were our own. Having achieved Certified Master status with BMW in two years earlier, Bob believed that there’s no reason dealership-quality services can’t be done at a fair and affordable price for everyone. That’s why he and his peers banded together to create Atlantic Autowerks– because everyone deserves a mechanic who’s on the customer’s side.

Throughout the next 40 years, Bob and the other founders, such as Terry Baker, grew the business through hard work, friendly service, and top-quality BMW maintenance. As the founders all grew together, Bob’s son, David, also grew. David Brochu grew up surrounded by a legacy of top-quality BMW service, and was raised in a community that valued hard work and a love for all things BMW.

Today, David has taken over for Bob, who is now happily retired. As Owner and President of Atlantic Autowerks, David now follows in his father’s footsteps, building on a decades-long legacy of customer service and high quality maintenance. Even as ownership passes from one generation to the next, one thing will always stay the same: Atlantic Autowerks will always provide dealership-quality services at a fair and affordable price for everyone.
